It's not the scale of the change that threatens species the most, but the speed with which the change in the environment occurs. Species need time to adapt in order to survive. Our climate is changing at such a rapid rate, it is not allowing enough time for species to adapt. Many species are disappearing at alarming rates. These are scientific facts.
