Rainforest Thoughts 1990

I found an photo essay I made in 1990 ago called, "Rainforest Thoughts".

I wanted an image of the Amazon Rainforest projected onto a mannequin's head. At the time, it required expensive software to do the conversion from analog to digital. I settled for this... Things are simpler now digitally. "Thinking about the Amazon Rainforest" has not changed anything though. We are still losing the habitat at an alarm rate! Tim Flannery's book "Weather Makers" tells a foreboding story about how these changes which have already occur may threatened the survival of this important biosphere.
